Malibu is a French electronic composer and vocalist based in Stockholm, Sweden, known for her immersive and diaristic approach to ambient music. Her compositions weave together drone, neoclassical, and pop elements, utilizing muted pianos, dense string layers, and ethereal vocal treatments to evoke sanctuary-like atmospheres. She gained critical recognition with her debut EP One Life in 2019, followed by Palaces of Pity in 2022 and her first full-length album Vanities in 2025. Beyond her solo work, she hosts the NTS Radio program United in Flames and performs at major international festivals such as Atonal and C2C. Her sound is characterized by a nostalgic, cinematic quality that explores themes of introspection, mortality, and existential longing.
