Manuka Honey is the project of Marissa Malik, a United States born, London based DJ, producer, and writer of Mexican and Pakistani heritage. Her sets sit at the front of Latinx infused club music, weaving reggaeton, dembow, and perreo through bass and experimental club textures. A resident on Balamii and a regular on Rinse FM, she has played Boiler Room in London and at the Miami El Perreo showcase. Her productions have appeared on Black Acre, NAAFI, Club Romantico, and fabric Originals. Chaotic, sensual, and physical, her selections chase club music's most compelling fringes.
