Dutch producer and DJ Martijn Deijkers, known as Martyn, has spent over two decades shaping the intersections of bass music, techno, and drum and bass. Originally from Eindhoven and now based in Washington D.C., he became a pivotal figure in the United Kingdom hardcore continuum by blending Detroit techno and Chicago house with dubstep and garage. He launched the 3024 imprint in 2007, which serves as a platform for his own work and a hub for emerging talent through his dedicated mentorship program. His expansive discography includes landmark albums like the 2011 release Ghost People on Brainfeeder, the 2014 record The Air Between Words on Ninja Tune, and the 2018 project Voids on Ostgut Ton. A seasoned selector, he holds residencies at Panorama Bar in Berlin and Good Room in New York City, alongside his monthly Darkest Light show on NTS Radio.
