Mike Guimond is a New York City DJ and selector who founded the Solarplexia party series in 2015 after time spent in Berlin. He plays disco, italo and deep, soulful house pulled from a vinyl-led record collection, favoring warm, groove-focused sets built for long blends. He held a residency at Le Bain at The Standard, High Line as one half of Never Fake It alongside Seth Magoon, and appears regularly at New York rooms including Good Room, Knockdown Center and Elsewhere. His approach stays classic and dancefloor-first, connecting decades of club music without chasing trends.
