Pedro Maia, known professionally as Mochakk, is a DJ and producer from Sorocaba, Brazil. Rooted in tech house and classic house, his sound frequently incorporates eclectic samples drawn from hip hop, funk, disco, and Brazilian rhythms. He first gained international traction with signature releases like 'Da Fonk' on Nervous Records in 2022 and 'Jealous' on CircoLoco Records in 2023. His highly energetic performances have led to a coveted residency at DC-10 in Ibiza, alongside standout sets at Coachella, Time Warp, and a massive Cercle show in Seville. Recently, Mochakk released his 'From the Stars' EP on Ninja Tune in 2025, expanded his Mochakk Calling event series globally, and opened the club OBLIQO in his hometown. What makes Mochakk connect on such a large scale is that he brings real groove, charisma, and crowd instinct to every set, turning stripped-back house and tech house into something that feels playful, physical, and impossible not to lock into.
