Born in Paris and currently based in New York City, Amaury Meunier operates under the alias Momus, cultivating a sound that bridges deep house and groovy techno. He began collecting records in 2004 before moving to the United States, where he integrated into the local underground circuit by playing at venues like Output, TBA Brooklyn, and The Panther Room. His production catalog includes the 2021 "Khoeli" EP on Upfrontbeats, which featured a notable remix by DJ T., alongside original tracks like "Malaco Disco." Momus maintains an active presence across international dancefloors, holding residencies and playing regular sets at Rūmu in Lisbon and Club26 in New Jersey.
