Musclecars is a New York City based DJ and producer duo comprised of Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield. The pair draws from the rich lineage of classic house, soul, and jazz, blending these influences with transcendental elements and cinematic moods. They operate the Coloring Lessons party series, label, and radio show, which serves as a platform for community building and honoring the contributions of Black and brown musical ancestors. Their debut album Sugar Honey Iced Tea! was released in 2024 on BBE Music, followed by the remix project Double Honey Pack featuring collaborations with Louie Vega and Maurice Fulton. Known for their thoughtful, groove-led approach, the duo maintains a residency at Nowadays in New York and performs internationally at clubs like Panorama Bar in Berlin.
