Electro and new wave selector, dark synth-driven indie sleaze sets
Nadine Régné is a New York City DJ and radio host, the daughter of Pat Caramel Régné, who came up through the city's nightlife working as a house technician and later production manager at Le Bain atop the Standard Hotel. She hosts the monthly Dog Bites Girl show on The Lot Radio, spinning electro, new wave, no wave, and cold wave, and co-runs the weekly Cherry Pop party at Gabriela alongside Rider. Her sets favor darker, synth-forward records and the indie sleaze end of the dance floor. Operating under the roirules banner, she is a fixture of the Williamsburg do-it-yourself scene. She reads as a selector's selector, digging past the obvious for records with edge and emotion.
