Born in Queens and raised in the Bronx, selector Niyx has carved out a distinct space in the New York City underground with her playful yet chaotic club aesthetic. Known for blending bouncy house, underground ghettotech, jungle, and hyperpop. Niyx first gained momentum competing in Your Shot USA and has since become a regular fixture at Brooklyn institutions like Mood Ring and Jupiter Disco. Her sets consistently center the roots of Black dance music while embracing an eclectic energy that she playfully dubs a "Hello Kitty meets club chaos" vibe. She has also showcased her curation on local platforms like Newtown Radio. By seamlessly bridging nostalgic pop aesthetics with raw underground rhythms, Niyx brings a refreshing and unpretentious energy to the modern dancefloor.
