Pearson Sound is the primary alias of David Kennedy, a London producer, DJ, and mastering engineer, and a co-founder of the influential Hessle Audio label alongside Ben UFO and Pangaea. His sound connects the low-end weight of UK soundsystem culture to a restless, forward-looking take on club music, moving between UK garage, jungle, dubstep, techno, and wonky bass. He has released across Hessle Audio and his own imprint and mixed the acclaimed FabricLive.56 under his Pearson Sound and Ramadanman names. A regular on Rinse FM through the Hessle Audio show, he has performed at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, and festivals worldwide. He remains one of UK bass music's most respected selectors and studio minds.
