Dutch DJ and producer Prunk has steadily built a reputation as a central figure in the modern European house landscape from his home base in Amsterdam. As the founder of the highly influential PIV Records, launched in 2015, he has cultivated a distinct sound that bridges classic United States house foundations with sleek, minimal deep tech grooves. His studio output includes standout projects like his 2016 breakthrough EP "Sexy Brasil" and the expansive 2023 album "Le Funk" on PIV, alongside appearances on esteemed imprints such as Defected and Nervous Records. A seasoned selector known for his effortless swing and warm atmospheres, he holds a residency at Straf_Werk and regularly commands marathon sets at Thuishaven, while touring globally at institutions like D.EDGE in São Paulo and Cova Santa in Ibiza. Frequently collaborating with artists like Chris Stussy and Dennis Quin, his recent work includes leading the 2025 PIV and Factory 93 Amsterdam Dance Event compilation with the track "Something About You." By championing a refined, groove-led aesthetic, Prunk continues to anchor the contemporary underground house community.
