Electro and indie sleaze selector, moody and bouncy synth-driven late-night grooves

Rider, born Chelsea Couto, is a New York City DJ and one half of Cherry Pop, the electro and indie sleaze duo she runs with Nadine Régné. Her sets move through electro, new wave, post-punk, and pop-leaning dance rock, built for the sweaty late-night floors of Williamsburg. She holds a regular booking at Gabriela, where the Cherry Pop and Romance parties are weekly fixtures, and has appeared alongside Nadine on The Lot Radio's Dog Bites Girl show. Working under the handle Lady Miss Rider, she is a familiar face in Brooklyn's do-it-yourself electro scene. Her strength is reading a room and drawing emotion out of leftfield synth records.
