Robbie Lumpkin is an emerging DJ and promoter based in New York City by way of Chicago, where he first discovered electronic music in his hometown clubs. After studying at the University of Toledo, he moved to New York and trained in production at Dubspot before establishing himself behind the decks. His sets cross the darker end of techno with the groove of house and deep house, drawing on influences such as Adam Beyer, Christian Smith and Dusky. He co-founded and holds a long-running residency with T-Rex Thursdays alongside Christian Voldstad, and has played New York rooms including Output, Cielo, TBA Brooklyn and Open Air. Long tied to the Output Nightclub scene as a promoter, Lumpkin brings a charismatic, high-energy approach to every booth he steps into.
