Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, and now based in Berlin, SALOME has established herself as a formidable presence in the contemporary electronic landscape. As a resident of the influential queer collective Herrensauna, she crafts sets that fuse electro, techno, and acid with occasional fragments of hardcore and hip hop. Her production work appears on labels such as Mechatronica, Lobster Theremin, and the Herrensauna imprint, often distinguished by the inclusion of unexpected vocal elements. She has performed at major international venues and festivals including Berghain, Bassiani, Sonar, and Dekmantel. SALOME stands out for her ability to bridge intense, high energy club sounds with a vulnerable, emotional depth that challenges the traditional stoicism of the techno scene.
