Samantha Michelle is a Toronto-born, London-raised DJ and producer now splitting her time between Los Angeles and New York. She started out playing sixties and seventies funk, soul, and rock in London before moving to the United States in 2018 and shifting toward house and Afro house influenced sets. She has opened for Duran Duran, Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, LCD Soundsystem, and Miley Cyrus, and has held residencies with Dolce and Gabbana and the Wall Street Journal. Her productions draw on Afro house, tribal house, melodic techno, and disco house, layering organic percussion and Middle Eastern and African melodic textures into a genre crossing sound. She has played Glastonbury and other major festivals alongside club and private events across two continents. Her ability to move fluidly between eras and genres while keeping a house foundation makes her a distinctive presence on lineups built around Afro house and melodic dance music.
