Golden-masked German producer crafting nu-disco with warm, sun-kissed Balearic grooves

Satin Jackets is the nu-disco and indie dance project of German producer Tim Bernhardt, who launched it in 2012 to explore polished, Balearic-leaning disco after years spent producing house under other aliases. The debut single You Make Me Feel Good, released on the Belgian label Eskimo Recordings, set the template for the project's warm, sun-kissed sound and its signature golden mask. Bernhardt has since built a catalog across three albums, Panorama Pacifico, Solar Nights, and Reunion, alongside remixes for acts such as Goldroom and Blank & Jones. He records with vocalists including Panama, Niya Wells, and David Harks, keeping his productions in a steady 105 to 115 BPM pocket. As a DJ he has played clubs and festivals from Mexico City to Seoul, with Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco among his most frequent regions.
