Scallywag is the alias of Zack Kerns, a long-running Brooklyn, New York DJ and one half of The Long Count Cycle, alongside a role in the Lost Soul Enterprises crew. His sets lean into dub techno, atmospheric techno and deep house, favoring hypnotic, spacious grooves over peak-time bombast. A fixture of the New York underground, he has appeared on The Lot Radio for Lost Soul Enterprises and helped run parties including Closed Circuit and Fourth World, and has taken his sound as far afield as Japan and South America. He remains a dependable, community-minded selector on the city's DIY circuit.
