Formed in 2019, SIDEPIECE is a United States-based house music duo consisting of established producers Dylan Ragland, known as Party Favor, and Ricky Mears, known as Nitti Gritti. The project operates at the intersection of tech house and bass house, characterized by catchy vocal hooks, pulsating basslines, and bump-and-grind grooves. They gained immediate global traction when their 2019 collaboration with Diplo, "On My Mind", released via Higher Ground, received a Grammy nomination. Subsequent signature tracks include "Acrobatic" on Insomniac Records and "Temptation" on Higher Ground, both arriving in 2021. The duo maintains a rigorous touring schedule with performances at major festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza, alongside club appearances at LIV Nightclub in Miami. Recent studio output includes the 2025 single "Cry For You" and the 2026 release "Wild" on the Experts Only imprint.
