New York City based duo Sleepy & Boo are long standing fixtures of the local underground dance music scene. As both DJs and event organizers, they have cultivated a reputation for delivering hypnotic, groove driven sets that span deep house and driving techno. Their production work, which began in 2015, frequently explores dub inspired textures and relentless percussion, with notable releases including the Return to Order EP on 3Bridge Records and tracks on Transmit Recordings. They are recognized for their extensive residency history in Manhattan and Brooklyn, having anchored nights at venues like Cielo and Marquee. Their sound is defined by a sophisticated fusion of haunting melodies, arpeggios, and immersive, tension building arrangements.
