Swiss Afro house and Caribbean-tinged grooves coupled with soulful and melodic house music

Sparrow, born Bryan Coletta, is a Swiss DJ, producer, and pianist whose sound bridges soulful musicianship with cross-cultural electronic influences. Raised in a family of musicians, his father the jazz guitarist Francis Coletta, he grounds his productions in harmony, improvisation, and a deep soul and jazz vocabulary. As the musical architect of the duo Sparrow & Barbossa, he became a key figure in Afro house, releasing records including Yeke, Nterini, and Champion and collaborating with artists such as Rampa, Josh Milan, and Idd Aziz. In 2022 he founded Tortuga Records, a home for Latin American artists and a driver of the sound he calls Caribbean House. He has performed at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Circoloco Ibiza, and the Montreux Jazz Festival, and in 2026 launched his solo era. Expect warm, percussive Afro and Latin house with real musicianship behind it.
