Stef Mendesidis is a techno producer and live performer whose sound is defined by raw analog hardware and a strict one-take recording philosophy. Born in the Soviet Union, raised in Greece, and currently based in the Netherlands, he spent his formative years as a resident at Moscow club Monasterio before expanding his reach internationally. Mendesidis is closely associated with Ben Klock's Klockworks imprint, where he delivered standout EPs like 2018's "Klockworks 23" and 2019's "Klockworks 26," culminating in his 2024 debut full-length album, "Decima." His kinetic live sets regularly anchor programming at clubs such as Berghain in Berlin, Bassiani in Tbilisi, and BASEMENT in New York, alongside festival appearances at Stone Techno and Amsterdam Dance Event. By manipulating synthesizers and drum machines in real time, Mendesidis bridges the tactile unpredictability of classic hardware with the relentless momentum of modern club music.
