Steve Aoki is a Los Angeles based DJ, producer and founder of Dim Mak Records, the label he started in 1996 that later broke acts such as The Bloody Beetroots and The Chainsmokers. His own catalog runs from the 2011 remix of Kid Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness and the 2012 album Wonderland through the 2014 Chris Lake and Tujamo collaboration Delirious (Boneless) with Kid Ink and the Neon Future album series that paired him with Louis Tomlinson, Linkin Park and BTS. His sets sit in big room and electro house with regular detours into bass, hip hop and pop, punctuated by the crowd caking that became his stage signature. He has played EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland since 2011, and in 2025 alone headlined Ultra Music Festival in Miami and the Tomorrowland mainstages in Belgium and Brasil before returning to Tomorrowland Winter in 2026. Three decades into Dim Mak, Aoki remains one of the most heavily touring DJs in the world and a bridge between EDM and mainstream pop.
