Stoop Noise is the bass music project of New York producer Ryan Tapalaga, based in Queens. Working across dubstep, trap, and hybrid bass, the project self-describes its output as homegrown bass music from the streets of NYC. Stoop Noise has released tracks through underground bass imprints including Suburbia Collective, Aspire Higher, Badmouth Records, and ADBC Records. The catalog leans on half-time drops, heavy sub-bass, and free-download single culture, alongside remixes and bootlegs of tracks such as Krewella's Alive. Bookings and management run through Village Sound. Stoop Noise appears on the Caspa bill at SILO in Brooklyn, a lineup rooted in heavyweight dubstep and bass.
