Thoom is the project of Beirut-born, New York-based artist and producer Zeynab Marwan. Her sound is a volatile hybrid of experimental pop, noise, and club music, weaving Arabic and English lyrics through witch house, reggaeton, and hard electronics. Marwan studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and came up through DIY underground scenes in Chicago, Berlin, and downtown New York. In 2026 she released the mixtape Everyday, Everything Is At Stake, executive-produced by Dylan Brady of 100 gecs. She has shared stages with Yves Tumor, Frost Children, and The Dare, drawing co-signs from artists like Juliana Huxtable and Mykki Blanco. Her live sets pair confessional vocals with abrasive, high-tension production.
