Tim Lucent is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer originally from Portland. His sound weaves the soul of deep house with a broader spectrum of house and disco, often incorporating jazz influences and groove driven edits. He is a frequent presence in the New York City club circuit, performing at venues such as Good Room, Outer Heaven, and The Lot Radio. Alongside Laila Amira, he co-founded the Club Made event series and radio presence, which serves as a platform for his genre fluid approach to dance music. His production work includes the track Hakyō No Kiki, released in collaboration with Kristos and Mona Matsuoka. Lucent stands out in the local scene for his technical versatility and his reputation as a community focused selector who prioritizes dance floor energy.
