Tomoki Tamura is a DJ and producer who began in Japan before moving to London in 2004, where his Holic nights built a reputation for deep, US-rooted house. Now based in Berlin, he runs the Holic Trax label and records for imprints including Suara, Plastic City, and Nite Grooves. His sets pair classic house grooves with strands of techno and acid, and under the alias A Time Traveller he curates ambient, jazz, and downtempo listening sessions. He has played long-running rooms across London, Berlin, and Tokyo, and remains a fixture of the international deep house circuit. His records favor warmth and swing over trend, a through line across two decades of releases.
