Formed in New York City, Sam Walker and Gavin Royce operate as the tech house duo Walker & Royce. The pair initially explored deep house and indie dance before developing a signature sound defined by quirky vocal samples, bouncy basslines, and propulsive club energy. They established their presence within the American festival circuit with their 2017 debut album "Self Help" on Dirtybird and the 2019 "Rave Grave" EP on Higher Ground. Their collaborative catalog includes tracks with Chris Lake, Green Velvet, and VNSSA, alongside their 2024 sophomore Dirtybird album "No Big Deal" featuring Reggie Watts. Walker & Royce maintain a consistent touring schedule with recent appearances at EDC Las Vegas, ARC Music Festival, and Club Space Miami.
