Whipped Cream is the Canadian producer and DJ Caroline Cecil, born in Toronto and based on Vancouver Island. She works in hip-hop influenced dark bass music that pulls from trap, dubstep, and drum and bass into a cinematic, genre-flexible sound. She broke through with the 2017 Persistence EP on Skrillex's Nest HQ and the 2020 EP WHO IS WHIPPED CREAM? on Big Beat Records. A self-taught producer who started with Jersey club flips on SoundCloud, she has since toured widely and released her debut album HOME WAS ALWAYS ME. Her heavy, rap-adjacent low end keeps her among the more distinctive voices in North American bass music.
