Dillon Jun Ho Wong operates as zensei, a Vancouver, Canada based producer known for blending lofi bass, downtempo, and cinematic electronica. Emerging from his earlier work as half of the duo Eminence, he debuted his solo project on Monstercat Silk with the 2022 collaborative EP "wonder years pt. 1" alongside Mr. Hilroy. He further established his atmospheric, R&B infused sound with the 2023 full length album "destination heartbreak" and the 2025 single "colors" on Monstercat Instinct. His intricate, texture heavy productions have reached broader audiences through placements in video games like Rocket League and Fortnite, as well as recent tour support for Said The Sky at venues like Brooklyn Steel. Sonically, his work relies on hypnotic grooves, deliberate imperfections, and warm melodies that evoke a strong sense of nostalgia. By merging the intimacy of bedroom lofi with the expansive polish of progressive house, zensei carves out a distinct space for emotionally resonant electronic music.
