wev

House

wev is a Brooklyn, New York based producer and DJ whose sound is rooted in the DNA of house and garage— inherited not through clubs, but through play. Raised on 90’s video game music which reflected the club music of that era, he traced those sounds to the source and built something native to both worlds. Key releases include his viral edit of the "Cowboy Bebop" theme "TANK!", "watchyaback!" featured on the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk OST, and "shigoto werk" placed in Rocket League in early 2026. He has collaborated with visual artist Nam Mac and artists like Yoshi T. of WHATMORE, with releases alongside A-Trak. Built independently and grown organically from New York and Tokyo outward, his debut album OST— as in original soundtrack, the format that first carried this music to him and now the definitive statement of his own, arrived May 2026. His distinctive blend of nostalgic influences and forward-leaning club sensibilities positions him as a unique voice in contemporary electronic music.
