HEADLINER

Nicolas Maxim Endlicher, known as MCMLXXXV, is a Berlin based DJ and co founder of the influential queer party series Herrensauna. His sets navigate the darker, high intensity spectrum of electronic music, weaving together EBM, electro, hard trance, and industrial with a focus on rhythmic tension. Emerging from the underground scene in Berlin, he has helped shape a global community that prioritizes queer liberation and raw, uncompromising sound. His curatorial work extends to the Herrensauna label, which serves as a platform for hybridic techno and subcultural aesthetics. By balancing disciplined austerity with a communal, hedonistic energy, he remains a pivotal figure in contemporary club culture. His work stands out for its ability to transform the emotional architecture of a dance floor, proving that severity and intimacy can coexist within the same sonic space.

He is recognized for his vinyl dexterity and has held fabled closing slots at institutions including Bassiani, Basement, and Fold. His sound remains deeply rooted in DIY ethics, prioritizing raw energy and a seamless, propulsive flow that bridges classic rave aesthetics with contemporary club pressure.
