Tony Touch

Electronic

HEADLINER

Joseph Anthony Hernandez, known as Tony Touch, is a pioneering DJ, producer, and breakdancer originating from Brooklyn, New York. Emerging from the 1980s b-boy scene, he became a foundational figure in mixtape culture with his "50 MCs" series before releasing his major label debut "The Piece Maker" on Tommy Boy Records in 2000. He followed up with "The Piece Maker 2" in 2004 and the Latin-focused "ReggaeTony" on EMI in 2005, collaborating with artists ranging from Wu-Tang Clan and Eminem to Louie Vega. His sound bridges classic hip-hop breaks, soulful house, and Latin rhythms into a seamless open format groove. Recently, he has maintained his long-running Funkbox NYC residency, hosted Toca Tuesdays on SiriusXM Shade 45, and performed specialized sets for Boiler Room and Aimé Leon Dore. As a vital link between New York hip-hop history and global dance music, Tony Touch continues to anchor the culture with deep crates and technical precision.

Moodymann

House

HEADLINER

Hailing from Detroit, Kenny Dixon Jr. operates as a singular force in electronic music under the moniker Moodymann. His production style fuses deep house, soul, and funk with a raw, sample-heavy aesthetic that prioritizes atmosphere and community over polished club tropes. Signature releases such as the 1997 EP Shades of Jae on KDJ, the 2004 album Black Mahogany on Peacefrog, and the 2020 full-length Taken Away on his own KDJ label define his uncompromising approach. He frequently collaborates with peers like Theo Parrish and Carl Craig, while maintaining a presence at global institutions like Rex Club and TV Lounge. By consistently centering his work on the black roots of techno and house, he remains an essential, defiant voice in a scene often prone to sanitization.
