Lauren Murada

Disco

HEADLINER

Originally from Wollongong, Australia, Lauren Murada relocated to New York City in 2014, where she became a fixture of the local club circuit. As a resident DJ at Brooklyn venue Good Room and a curator for the L&L&L Record Club, she champions a sound rooted in disco, funk, and soulful house. Her sets often incorporate vinyl selections and edits that draw from leftfield and obscure dance music history. Beyond her performance work, she serves as the North American Regional Manager for Resident Advisor and frequently moderates industry discussions on the state of nightlife. She remains a dedicated selector who prioritizes the preservation of disco culture through her parties and radio presence. Murada stands out as a vital connector in the New York scene, balancing her role as a club resident with a deep commitment to the community and infrastructure of electronic music.
