ALT8

Techno

Hailing from Ireland, Evan Marshall, known as ALT8, has emerged as a prominent figure in the modern hard techno landscape. His sound fuses high-octane industrial percussion with the euphoric, trance-inflected melodies of the early 2000s, a style he frequently describes as hard bounce. Key releases include his breakthrough track Mind Control on the Reckless label, the Hope in Darkness EP on Moments In Time, and his widely recognized collaboration Heaven with Sara Landry. He maintains a rigorous international touring schedule, performing at major festivals and clubs while consistently delivering high-energy sets that bridge the gap between underground grit and main-stage accessibility. By balancing aggressive, rave-inspired rhythms with emotive synth work, he creates a distinct sonic identity that resonates across contemporary dancefloors.

DIØN

Techno

Based in Amsterdam, Dutch producer and DJ DIØN bridges the gap between 1990s rave nostalgia and the aggressive, industrial-leaning techno of the modern era. His sound is defined by raw, high-impact kicks, acid-infused textures, and a relentless rhythmic drive that frequently incorporates hardcore and jungle influences. He established his own imprint, Rough Material, in 2021 to serve as the primary home for his output, including signature releases like the 2020 breakthrough Public Enemies and the 2024 single The Moment That Matters. A fixture at major European festivals such as Awakenings and Verknipt, he has garnered consistent support from prominent figures like Amelie Lens and Sara Landry. By blending visceral, dancefloor-focused energy with an increasingly introspective melodic core, he maintains a distinct presence in the contemporary hard dance landscape.
