Schrotthagen

Techno

HEADLINER

Schrotthagen is a German techno duo formed in 2023 by Giovanni Berg and Dieter Schleip, both of whom built careers as film and television composers before turning to electronic music. Berg trained in classical music, jazz improvisation, and composition in Munich, while Schleip began as a guitarist and keyboardist in punk bands before moving into film scoring. The pair describe their sound as cinematic techno, weaving classical, jazz, and film-scoring sensibilities into hard-hitting, melodic productions. They released the album Nostalgie und Traurigkeit and have toured extensively across Europe, with festival appearances including Ultra Miami, Mayday, and Nature One. Their live shows and studio work have drawn coverage from outlets such as FAZEmag and Mixmag.
