The Sponges

House

HEADLINER

The Sponges are a house and tech house duo formed by Ryan Slepin and Nik Eaton, who grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and came up through Miami's Club Space scene. Their signature sound fuses 1970s funk, disco samples, and heavy bass with four on the floor house grooves, pulling in breaks and turntablism. The duo has released on labels including Box of Cats and built a catalog that moves between bass house, tech house, and funky disco house. They tour nationally and have played festivals such as Suwannee Hulaween, alongside opening slots for acts like The Knocks and GRiZ. Producers including Zeds Dead, GRiZ, Malaa, and Destructo have supported their music. Their live sets lean on funk driven energy and crowd focused grooves, making them a steady draw for house and bass crowds.
