Felix Cartal

House

HEADLINER

Felix Cartal is the recording and DJ alias of Vancouver producer Taelor Deitcher, a fixture of Canadian dance music since Steve Aoki signed him to Dim Mak in 2009. His sound has moved from blown-out electro toward a brighter, vocal-forward strain of house and dance-pop across albums such as Popular Music (2010, Dim Mak), Expensive Sounds for Nice People (2021, Physical Presents) and i, sabotage (2025). He hosts the long-running Weekend Workout radio show, a weekly mixshow that doubles as a launchpad for his own singles and remixes. A two-time JUNO winner for Best Dance Recording, he has built a second reputation on guerrilla pop-up sets staged everywhere from Vancouver beaches to the top of the CN Tower. Cartal remains one of the more reliably melodic operators on the Canadian club circuit, equally at home behind a festival build or a sunset day party.
