Felix Da Housecat

House

HEADLINER

Emerging from the second wave of Chicago house, Felix Da Housecat remains a pivotal figure in the evolution of electronic dance music. His sound bridges the gap between classic jacking rhythms and the electroclash movement of the early 2000s, characterized by sharp synth lines and a distinctively gritty aesthetic. Signature releases such as the seminal album Kittenz and Thee Glitz from 2001 on Emperor Norton and the 2002 follow up Devin Dazzle and the Neon Fever on City Rockers solidified his influence on global club culture. He has collaborated with artists ranging from Miss Kittin to P. Diddy, maintaining a presence at major festivals and underground venues worldwide. His recent work continues to explore the intersection of house, electro, and disco, reflecting a career defined by constant stylistic reinvention. As a foundational architect of the electroclash sound, his work provides a vital link between the history of Chicago house and the modern electronic landscape.
