About

Lane 8 brings his Cross Pollination concept to Brooklyn Storehouse for a night of back to back sets: Lane 8 b2b Kasbo, and Robby East b2b MYRNE. The show follows the This Never Happened policy, so phones and cameras are covered at the door to keep the focus on the music and the dancefloor. It is part of the venue's closing season inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard, running 10pm to 5am for guests 21 and over. Table reservations are available through the venue.

Lane 8

(1)

Electronic

Lane 8 sits in that rare space where melodic house actually feels intimate instead of formulaic. At his core, Daniel Goldstein makes and plays emotionally driven house and progressive-leaning dance music, but what separates him from a lot of artists in that world is the restraint. His records are warm, patient, and deeply melodic without tipping into cheesy, oversized “anthem” territory, and his sets tend to unfold more like long emotional arcs than peak-chasing DJ performances. A huge part of his identity is tied to This Never Happened, the label and phones-away event concept he created, which says a lot about how he sees dance music in the first place: less as content, more as connection and atmosphere. That ethos, along with his roots in Anjunadeep and the broader melodic house circuit, helped make him one of the defining names in the deeper, more reflective end of modern dance music.

Kasbo

Kasbo

Electronic

Kasbo is the project of Carl Garsbo, an electronic producer and DJ from Gothenburg, Sweden, active since 2013 with early releases on Monstercat and bitbird before joining ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective and Counter Records. His debut album Places We Don't Know (2018) was followed by The Making of a Paracosm (2020) and The Learning of Urgency (2024), all through Foreign Family Collective, alongside the remixes of Vance Joy, Fetty Wap and Big Gigantic that first built his audience. He has played Red Rocks Amphitheatre in support of ODESZA and Big Gigantic and tours a live show of his own, while his DJ sets, such as the three-hour Labyrinth sunset sets, lean into melodic house and slower, emotive builds. He records at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg, the studio associated with Max Martin. His sound sits between indie electronica and melodic dance music, with lush chords, pitched vocals and a cinematic sense of pacing. He matters now as one of the artists carrying the Foreign Family sound into longer, club-facing sets.

Robby East

Robby East

Progressive

Robby East is the alias of Robert Laterveer, a producer and DJ from Amsterdam, Netherlands, who started releasing in 2015 and moved from future house toward a hypnotic, synth-heavy progressive sound. He has released on Lane 8's This Never Happened, including Toucan, Echoes Galore (2024) and Wait, Are You Human? (2025), and on Anjunadeep, and holds a publishing deal with Armada Music Publishing. Recent singles include Follow Me Down with ALLKNIGHT (2024), In The Dark (2025) and Do Not Disturb (2026), alongside the Revive DJ mix (2024) and guest takeovers of the This Never Happened show on SiriusXM Chill. He toured China in 2025 and appears regularly on This Never Happened bills with Lane 8 and Sultan + Shepard, including the Bookshelf Sessions set filmed in Brooklyn. His sets run melodic house and progressive house with long, evolving arrangements and a steady, driving pulse. He matters as one of the core artists shaping the melodic lane of the This Never Happened label.

MYRNE

MYRNE

Progressive

MYRNE is Manfred Lim, a producer and DJ from Singapore, born in 1995 and classically trained on piano, who began producing in 2012. In 2015 he became the first Asian artist signed to Diplo's Mad Decent after the label found his rework of To U on SoundCloud, and in 2018 he became the first Singaporean act to play Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland in Belgium. Now based in Los Angeles, he has shifted from bass-heavy future pop to melodic house, progressive and trance, heard on singles such as Falling Back (2022), Heal (2024), Let Me In (2026) and Superstition (2026). He plays long-form sets, including five and six hour all-night runs, and has guested on the This Never Happened radio show on SiriusXM Chill. His open-air Closessions set at Corona Heights Park in San Francisco captures the current lane, melodic and uplifting with trance-leaning builds. He matters as a Southeast Asian producer who broke through globally and then rebuilt his sound for the melodic house era.
