Electronic

Atlanta-raised and Brooklyn-based producer and artist girl_irl operates at the intersection of industrial pop, hyperpop, and experimental electronic music. Their sound is defined by a signature deadpan vocal delivery layered over glitched percussion, booming basslines, and manipulated found sounds. Notable releases include the 2021 single Sinclair and the 2024 mixtape (re)introduction, which showcase a penchant for genre-bending production and introspective, empowerment-focused lyricism. They have cultivated a reputation for high-energy live performances and club-ready tracks that bridge the gap between underground electronic sensibilities and pop structures. By blending disparate sonic textures into cohesive, cathartic make-believe, girl_irl stands out as a distinct voice in the modern electronic landscape.
