Tom Lilly, known professionally as Bustin' Loose, is a London based DJ, producer, and label head whose work centers on nu disco, soulful house, and funk infused electronic music. He is the founder of The Disco Express, an imprint and event series that began as a Shoreditch loft party in 2017 and has since grown into a recognized platform for modern disco. His discography includes the 2022 "Swift Lippin'" EP on his own label and the 2025 "Château d'Amour" EP, alongside releases on Toy Tonics and Whiskey Disco. As a selector, he has performed at major festivals like Glastonbury, Wilderness, and Secret Garden Party, while holding down club dates at London venues such as Phonox, KOKO, and E1, as well as international spots like La Java in Paris. His sound blends vintage 1970s nightlife aesthetics with the driving percussion of contemporary club music. By bridging classic funk sensibilities with modern house production, Bustin' Loose maintains a vital space for groove oriented dance music within the broader European underground.
