HEADLINER

Oscar G is a foundational figure in the Miami house music scene, recognized for his enduring influence as a DJ, producer, and songwriter. Emerging in the early 1990s alongside longtime collaborator Ralph Falcon, he gained international prominence through the seminal production teams Murk, Liberty City, and Funky Green Dogs. His signature sound is defined by deep, tribal-infused grooves, pulsating basslines, and soulful vocal arrangements, exemplified by classic releases such as Liberty City's Some Lovin' (1991, Murk Records), Funky Green Dogs' Fired Up! (1996, Twisted), and the Murk anthem Dark Beat (2003, Twisted). Beyond his studio work, he is celebrated for his legendary marathon residencies at Club Space in Miami, which helped establish the venue as a global hub for underground dance music. He remains an active performer and producer, continuing to shape the house landscape through his ongoing work with labels like Nervous Records.
