HEADLINER

DJ Harvey is a British DJ and producer, born in Cambridge, England and based in Los Angeles, whose reputation rests on long, loose sets that move between disco, house, boogie and rock edits. He came up running the Moist party at Ministry of Sound in London and building the Black Cock edits label with Gerry Rooney before relocating to the United States in the mid 1990s. In Los Angeles he became a fixture at Sarcastic Disco and later formed Locussolus, releasing on International Feel. Since 2015 he has held the Mercury Rising residency at Pikes in Ibiza, which spawned a compilation series on Pikes Records. He plays vinyl heavy sets that can stretch all night, and his Ray-Ban x Boiler Room appearance in Milan helped introduce his approach to a younger audience. Few DJs have done more to keep disco a living, mutable club form rather than a nostalgia act.
