HEADLINER

MashBit is the project of Dariush Mash, a Los Angeles based DJ and producer of Persian heritage, born in Sardinia, Italy. He builds melodic house around Persian inspired melodies, synth work, and regional percussion, with the stated goal of representing Persian culture within melodic electronic music. He first drew a wide audience through viral mashups before shifting toward a more personal, emotionally driven sound. His productions pair modern melodic house structure with cinematic, emotive detail, backed by a formal music education. He now tours behind a fast growing streaming audience and a distinct lane in melodic house.
