Impossible Illusions is a Brooklyn creative collective's fall edition, taking over Substance Skatepark for a night that pairs live music with visual art, animation, sculpture, and performance in one room. The musical bill features the bands Atewelle and Dirt alongside DJs KC and Pilarz, with work from a rotating cast of local visual artists and lasers threaded through the space. Doors run late, from 10pm to 6am, and the night is built around participation, with attendees invited to bring and trade their own creations. It is a 21+ event.
