Gabby Cocco

House

Gabby Cocco feels like part of that newer Brooklyn selector wave that is less about rigid genre allegiance and more about building a mood with real taste. Her sets pull from disco, acid, electro, moody new wave, nostalgic vocals, and more atmospheric club textures, but the thing that makes that mix land is that it feels emotionally guided rather than just eclectic for the sake of it. There is a softness and curiosity to the way she builds a room, while still keeping enough rhythm and edge to make it work on a dancefloor. The overall vibe reads stylish, introspective, and a little dreamy, but still clearly rooted in actual nightlife and club instinct, which is why she makes sense in places like Good Room, Gabriela, Elsewhere, and Bar Oriente. She is also a Raw Cuts resident, which places her firmly within one of Brooklyn’s more taste-driven underground party circles and reinforces her credibility as a trusted local selector.

As a producer and the founder of Bumpin' Somethin' Records, his catalog includes original singles like "Tourisms" (2021) and collaborative tracks such as "Love On The Dancefloor" (2025) alongside Kiinjo and The Patchouli Brothers. His aesthetic is rooted in deep, soulful storytelling, seamlessly weaving together classic New York grooves, Italo, and electro. With an encyclopedic knowledge of rhythm and a commitment to local nightlife, Planet B remains an essential selector shaping the modern Brooklyn club landscape.
