Yaya

Minimal / Deep Tech

HEADLINER

Yaya is one of those DJs producers who people in the minimal and groove-heavy house world have quietly rated for years because his sound has real swing, texture, and musical identity behind it. Coming out of Turin with both African and Italian roots, and later becoming closely tied to Desolat before launching Tamango Records, he built a style that feels warm, percussive, and deeply locked into the dancefloor without ever becoming stiff or overly sterile. His records and sets usually live somewhere between minimal, tech house, and stripped-back house, but what makes them land is the groove: rolling low end, hypnotic percussion, and that slick but still soulful touch that separates proper heads-down club music from generic afterparty filler. He is not usually framed as the loudest personality in the scene, but within that European groove circuit he has long carried the reputation of a DJ’s DJ, someone whose taste, rhythm, and control speak louder than hype.
