Golden Record NYC is a Brooklyn-based event collective co-founded by Nick Spector, Martín, and Abraham Othwell after an impulsive decision among friends to throw a warehouse party. What began as a DIY project grew into a recurring series of pop-ups, warehouse nights, and extended sessions built around high-quality sound and carefully curated music. Its programming moves fluidly through house, techno, minimal, electro, and soulful dance music, with artists ranging from underground New York selectors to respected international names. Golden Record has become especially associated with intimate, music-first environments where long sets, strong sound systems, and community take priority over spectacle. The collective’s orbit later helped give rise to Brooklyn spaces including Signal, 333, and Green Room, extending its approach into permanent nightlife spaces. Across collaborations, secret-location parties, and marathon events, Golden Record has maintained the DIY spirit that originally defined the project.
