MERGE is a Brooklyn-based queer techno party that emerged in 2021 and has become a fixture in New York’s underground scene. Its events are built around long-form, immersive dance floors, often running deep into the following day at undisclosed warehouse and industrial locations. The sound centers on hypnotic, industrial, and driving techno, with house and more experimental club music occasionally folded into multi-room lineups. MERGE has hosted artists including DJ Nobu, Robert Hood, Rrose, Luke Slater, Phase Fatale, MARRØN, Kangding Ray, and Juliana Huxtable alongside residents such as Ne/Re/A, Juana, and Auspex. The party places a strong emphasis on queer community, self-expression, limited phone use, and creating an environment where the music and collective dance-floor experience remain the focus. MERGE has also collaborated with international institutions including Tokyo’s FUTURE TERROR and Amsterdam’s PAX-ROMANA, while its marathon Pride and anniversary parties have become recurring highlights of its calendar.
