BAMBII is a Toronto based DJ and producer whose work bridges the gap between Caribbean dancehall traditions and contemporary electronic club music. Her sound is characterized by high energy rhythms, warped vocal samples, and a synthesis of jungle, drum and bass, and UK garage. She gained significant recognition for her debut EP Infinity Club, which won the 2024 JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year. Beyond her studio output, she is known for her JERK event series, which fosters community and highlights artists from the Caribbean diaspora. She has performed at major international festivals including Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, and Afropunk. BAMBII stands out as a vital voice in the modern club landscape by rejecting rigid genre boundaries to create a fluid, inclusive, and deeply rhythmic sonic experience.
